From his early childhood, to his Emmy nominated cinematography. Marlon Lawe has continued on a path of amazing locations and stunning images.
With a camera always at hand, He constantly explores new methods of filming, cutting edge equipment, and innovative visual tools.
Educated at the High School of Art and Design in New York. Marlon was chosen out of many students to enroll into their prestigious media program, where he focused on Photography and Film studies. His continued journey as an artist and storyteller led him to cinematography and has evolved quite naturally into directing.
Marlon, President of “Shoot N Edit”, is proud to have produced events for large, leading corporations since the Company’s existence. Some of the companies that have utilized his talents are HBO/Showtime, Spike TV, ESPN, Oxygen Media, Nickelodeon, and various others.
In 2006, Marlon Lawe was nominated for an ‘Emmy’ award
for his cinematography for the Tribecca Film Festival Winner “Riker’s High”, which was released as a Showtime Documentary.
